Cards

This project is to make card game. Theses are my final designs and It was tough to do with a very stressful week. each one of them mean something about myself. I did these in marker which came out okay, but I wish I could of done a better job. there is still lots for me to work.

The Bard

I did my program cover on Julius Caesar. I did my a little bloody which is really part of my character that I did a while back and he is suppose to be more dark and evil and mean. My idea for this was just get a thought of a horrible murder even tho Julius Caesars murder was just not as bad as I'm making it out to be, but my idea was just to make it a little more dark bloody and I feel like this piece makes you think that they most of hated him with a passion.

The first one was "The Creation of a thousand forests is one acorn" I did I thought it would be a great quote to use for my homework, because I thought it had a a lot visual to it and so I mad a shape of a acorn and some trees in the inside of this acorn. The next one I did was one thing I heard a lot "You are the apple to my eye." my idea was to have the apple in the middle of the eye to be the focus point. The next one I did had is "if you don't know where you're going any road will take you there." my idea for this one is to have one the signs that see on the side of the road with street image on it and letting you know any road will get you there.

CYRK POSTER

This CYRK poster that I did is a sword swallower. I feel like this man here is dark and angry. I also feel like he does the sword swallowing as a showing of how much he hates his life.

Totally Looks Like

My first totally looks like is Stephen Amell a TV actor who I thought looks like Edward Kenway from the new video game Assassin's Creed 4 BlackFlag 

My second look a like is this Halloween skeleton that was posted up for decorations and I thought he look like Benny from the Disney movie Halloweentown.

My third look a like is Cassie Ventura and another character from Assassin's Creed series is Aveline de Grandpre young African half French Assassin.

My fourth look a like is part of a tree trunk and I thought it could look like a Elephant trunk which i thought is was awesome that way part of it did shape up like the actual one in the picture.

I wasn't all to sure about this one, but I thought is looked like a gold egg from Harry Potter well kind of.

This next is me in high school thought I looked like Mark Foster the singer of  Foster the People.

I saw this at the pool and it reminded me of the the hook that use to pull people or characters off the stage with.

I thought this white out look like the giant snail here well kind of.

I thought this staple puller look like a snake fixing to bite.

I saw this and I really thought it looked like one of those wheel from a wagon.

Juxtaposition

The first one I did is Hot and cold or you can also think of it as sweet and spicy since its a chilly pepper. I thought it would be good I do to that, because some people think the the chilly is hot and that is where I got the idea and putting to together with ice cream which is obviously cold and I thought they fitted well. The second one is good and bad with and robber and the police and I thought it would be a good idea to put police office which is good and a robber which is bad those were my ideas. My third idea is Life and Death I just thought up and flower being a alive and happy and than next min death appears on the flower. These were my three Juxtapositions. 

Freaky Juxtaposition

New yorker Cartoons

 

For Conceptual Imagery class we had to pick a quote and make a New Yorker cartoon. The first one I did was the Dog at the vets office get his "Temperature" checked which I thought this quote fit great and make it funny. I'm not an expert at drawing cartoons, but I thought I did pretty good on this one. The second one I did was spider about to be stepped on which again I thought the quote captured it perfectly in my opinion. If you think about it maybe that what the spider is actually saying before you step on him. These two are my New Yorker Cartoons.

Shape Potential 5

These two drawings are the last of the Shape Potential drawing. The first drawing I tried fitting my shape has part of a water hose nozzle. which it kind of fits if you think about hard enough, but at this time I was forcing this one really badly. The second drawing was the very last drawing that I did and you can tell that it got hard and I lost a lot of ideas already. I made my shape into a Cigarette which was the only idea that I could bang out of head at the time. The whole project got a little hard at end, but it really depends on how difficult you shape really is. My shape was very challenging and so it got harder especially when I got to the midway point of this project.

Shape Potential 4

Here are more of my Shape Potential drawings. The first drawing I put the shape as the pig legs and the hoofs. To me the shape fit well with animals especially, because all animals come in all kinds of shapes and sizes and I thought using  my shape for legs and hoofs would be a good fit and it was. The second drawing I did a bug and I also used the shape as the bugs legs, which I thought fit well just has good has the pigs.

Here is some more Shape Potential drawings that I did. The top drawing I notice the my shape could fit in as gas pump, which I thought it was another awesome idea and it also fit well for a gas pump. The next drawing I wanted  to put my shape as a Vacuum pump. It took me while to come up with this idea, because the more drawings that I did the hard it got trying to see where a shape like this could fit and be successful. The Vacuum pump was another forced idea sadly.

My next two drawings that I did for the Shape Potential project were slowing me down, because of how my shape is weirdly shaped. The first drawing I used the shape as a finger pressing a very dangerous button. I thought this wasn't going to fit well, but turned out well in my opinion. The Second drawing I used the shape as 3D Glasses and i thought it fit okay, but I forced that idea in there to make it work. Out of the two drawing the Nuke is my favorite one.

Shape Potential

For my Conceptual Imagery class I had to make imagery out of one shape that you picked out of a hat. I highlighted the shape that I got in the pictures I did. The first drawing that I did was an Elephant, because I noticed that my  shape had the potential to be a trunk of an elephant. I thought it fit very well. The second drawing I thought of this idea right of the bat and I knew it would be an awesome idea to use my shape as part of an Anteater and for some reason this is my favorite one out these two.

3 Folds 3 Ideas

In Conceptual Imagery class we had to fold a paper 3 times the first person will do the head and do something creative with it which I thought was fun, but the thing that made this more exciting is after we are done drawing the head the other two people in your group could not see it and we fold it and pass it to the the next person and they will draw the body on the second fold and the next person will draw the legs on the third fold. we each had our own paper to pass around and each of us can draw the head,body, and the legs. when your original paper comes back to you, you have no idea what the other person did to the rest of the folds. when I got my original paper back I laughed, because I didn't expect a strong body and what seems to me the other half of a Power Puff Girl. Honestly the whole body fits in my eyes even tho it looks really silly. I really like the idea the anything can fit, you just have to be creative with it.

Creative Shapes

Trying to Create an image with three different shapes. Each shape had its own difficulties on what this shape could be. It is challenging, but it is good for opening you're mind to the possibilities of what these shapes could be.
